Katie
Katie is nearly four years old and has been with us since she was just ten weeks old. She is very big, taking after her grandfather who was a large coloured Shire. She was black and white (piebald) when she was born but this has faded to blue and white and now almost to grey. Both Bluebell and Susie are also “piebalds in disguise.” It’s only when they are very wet that you can see their coloured markings!
Katie is very gentle and has the same calm temperament as her Mum. She enjoys meeting people and taking part in our workshops for short periods of time. She is ready to start the next stage of her education and will start ridden work this year. I think she will enjoy this as she likes having something to do and loves to please. So far she has taken everything in her stride and I’m sure this will continue.
