Storm

Storm came to us from World Horse Welfare about four years ago. He’s a “Heinz 57″ pony of unknown breeding. He ran wild as a stallion until he was six and although gelded now, still thinks he is “the real deal” and so we can’t have him sharing a field with the girls – but he is no doubt that they are all his anyway!

Before being rescued by them, he had been badly abused and cruelly treated and did not trust humans. We just let him be for a while, just allowing him to set the pace. Our patience has been repaid and he now loves attention as much as the others, although he still has a very strong flight instinct.

He is our healing horse, being incrediblysensitive to anyone who is ill or who has sadness in their life. He will come to stand by them and lend his comfort and support.

Storm enjoys workshops with people who are calm and quiet. We still let him set the pace and join in as he wants.
